Professor Allain has been recognized as a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Nuclear & Plasma Sciences Society for his lectures “Challenges to a foundational understanding of the plasma-material interface in plasma-burning nuclear fusion reactors” and “Directed Irradiation Synthesis: manipulating matter in nanoscale self-organized systems“.
